Tectonic Yuzu

This piece was created from inspiration by my students. As an art school teacher, I like to blend art and science with some of our projects and the base colors used in this piece give me a sense of earths layers which brought me to “Tectonic” like tectonic plates. Overall, I see a lot of yellows and neons that reminded me of the salt and vinegar chips I was devouring while making this. Yuzu, like a Japanese lemon came to mind which brought me to Tectonic Yuzu.
